What to expect
when we work together.
Clear expectations make for a calmer project. These launch terms will be confirmed in your written project agreement before work begins.
These terms explain the practical side of a Pocket Pollen project, from booking and revisions to ownership and ongoing care.
Booking and payment
A 50% deposit books the project and work begins on the agreed start date. The remaining 50% is due once the website is approved and ready to launch. The site will not be launched or transferred until the final invoice is paid.
What you provide
You’ll provide accurate business information, any required logins, and content or images we have agreed you will supply. Delays in receiving these may move the delivery date. You confirm you have permission to use everything you send.
Revisions
Each package includes two sensible rounds of revisions to the agreed design. A round means one collated list of feedback. New pages, a change of direction after approval, or work outside the original brief may be quoted separately before it is started.
Cancellations
If you cancel before work begins, any refund will reflect time already reserved or spent. Once work begins, the deposit is normally non-refundable. If Pocket Pollen has to cancel, you will receive a fair refund for work not completed.
Domains, hosting and third-party costs
Your domain and hosting remain in your name wherever practical. Any third-party charges will be explained before purchase and are paid by you unless the proposal says otherwise. Pocket Pollen is not responsible for outages or changes caused by third-party providers.
Ownership
Once all invoices are paid, you own the final website content and the custom design created for you. Pocket Pollen retains ownership of reusable methods, tools and underlying components, and may show the finished work in its portfolio unless we agree otherwise.
Pocket Care
Pocket Care covers reasonable minor text and image changes, routine checks and general website help. It does not include redesigns, new pages, major new features, ecommerce management, bulk content entry or emergency support. As a fair-use guide, allow up to 45 minutes of minor updates per month; unused time does not roll over. Anything larger is discussed and priced first.
Late payment and responsibility
Invoices are due on the date shown. Work may pause and launch may be delayed while an invoice is overdue. You are responsible for checking factual and legal accuracy before approval. Pocket Pollen will build with reasonable care but cannot guarantee search rankings, sales or uninterrupted third-party services.
